This Schedule 40 PVC fitting is used for a variety of cold-water applications in residential, industrial, and commercial settings. As with all Schedule 40 PVC fittings, as the temperature of the media transported is increased, the pressure rating is decreased. For warmer temperatures, CPVC fittings are recommended.
